Audemars Piguet Replica presents its first watch in sand gold,a new alloy of 18 carat gold that changes color to white pink depending on the viewing angle and lighting.
Together with gold brass and palladium,this precious new material is used for the first time in the new Royal Oak Flying Tourbillon Openwork 41mm 26735SG.
The sand gold case measures 41 x 10.6mm and features a polished and brushed satin clasp.The same finish is used for composite edges.
To match the case and bracelet,the Swiss manufacturer created open bridges and gold colored clay to decorate both sides of the 2972 caliber.
The sand contrasts with the gold bridge and the blue tones of the main plate.Rhodium colored case,pinion and pinion,tourbillon at 6 o’clock,silver indexes and luminous hands.
The Audemars Piguet Replica logo is printed in black on the opaque sapphire crystal at 12 o’clock.
The case features a rhodium plated 22 carat rose gold movement with a bright,aesthetically pleasing finish.
The caliber 2972,launched in 2022 to celebrate Royal Oak’s 50th anniversary,is equipped with an automatic transmission and a tourbillon steering wheel.
